TRAFFIC PATTERN:
A. Standard left-hand traffic pattern flown at 800 feet AGL.
B. Departing traffic may make a right or left 45 degree turnout when reaching 600 feet AGL and announcing intentions.
C. Please brief your flying guests before they arrive at Hidden River.
NOISE:
A. it is our responsibility as pilots to be good neighbors and to do everything possible to keep aircraft noise to a minimum.
B.The preferred runway for takeoff and landing during calm wind conditions is Runway 9. If aircraft performance so requires, Runway 27 may be used for takeoff.
RADIO COMMUNICATION:
A. When approaching for a landing and about 5 miles from Hidden River Airport, call on 122.9 and state your position, altitude and intentions. Monitor this frequency for other aircraft while maintaining a visual watch.
B. Announce intentions again when entering downwind, base and final.
C. Prior to taxiing into position for takeoff, announce intentions, including runway.
D. Frequency 122.9 should be used by aircraft taxing to or from the runway area. Prior to leaving your homesite or the runway ramp, announce your intentions and monitor this frequency so that you can coordinate your aircraft movements to avoid conflicting traffic.
E. Remember that non-radio equipped aircraft operate at Hidden River. Be alert for other traffic at all times.
TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS:
A. Touch and go landings are restricted to residents only - and not before 8:00 AM or after 10:00 PM.
B. This in no way restricts residents from arriving or departing whenever they desire.

RUNWAY LIGHTS:
A. To activate the Hidden River Airport lights, key your radio transmitter 5 times within 10 seconds on 122.9. The lights will remain on for about 15 minutes.
B. To insure the lights remain illuminated for approach and landing, it is suggested that, upon entering the traffic pattern, the pilot key his radio five times again to reset the timer.
C. At the pilot's discretion, the lights may be turned off by keying the mike 8 times in 10 seconds.
AIRCRAFT RUNUPS:
A. Conduct runups well clear of runway approach paths so as not to interfere with arriving aircraft.
B. Runway 9: runup on the taxiway on the south side.
C. Runway 27: runup on the ramp east of the culvert.
D. When parking for runup, leave enough space for landed aircraft to rapidly clear the runway.
PARKING:
A. All aircraft shall be parked at the owner's homesite or in the aircraft parking area designated on the plat maps.
B. Under no circumstances are aircraft to be parked on the north side of the east-west taxiway at the east end of the runway. This is a safety overrun area.
C. No aircraft or vehicles may be parked in the right-of-way of any taxiway or roadway.
